2018 Offseason Arm Gearbox

I designed the arm gearbox for Team 254's 2018 offseason robot. The gearbox powers a 20 pound, 3.5 foot arm from horizontal to vertical in less than a second with a 694.94:1 gear ratio. I used physics calculations and motor curves to ensure that it could hold the arm at a 60 degree angle while using less than 0.1 amps.
